New Mexico v Dean Cummings
Extreme snow skier Dean Cummings, formerly from Utah, was attempting to buy some land from an acquaintance, Guillermo Arriola, in New Mexico to begin a new hunting guide career. But as Cummings got to know Arriola, he became a bit alarmed at Arriola's storied past. On February 29, 2020, the two men got into an argument, and Arriola ended up dead from a gunshot wound. Cummings claimed self defense.
