Texas v Darrin Lopez

This case involves a love triangle in which a man from Tennessee, Darrin Lopez, and his long-distance love interest, Jennifer Faith, conspire to kill Jennifer's husband, James Faith in their Dallas, Texas neighborhood.  Darrin Lopez and Jennifer Faith had been high school sweethearts, and found each other again online during the pandemic.  Darrin Lopez was convinced by Jennifer Faith that her husband James had abused her, and Jennifer admitted in her trial that she had manipulated Darrin into doing the deed.  Jennifer Faith was tried and convicted separately for her part in the death of her husband.​
